Aldo Di Mattia joined Fortinet in 2012 with the title of System Engineer before becoming Principal System Engineer & team leader in 2018 and Senior Manager Systems Engineering in 2020. Today he is in charge of a team of systems engineers supporting central and local public administration, defence and critical infrastructures throughout Italy. In 2005 he graduated in Computer Science at the University La Sapienza of Rome with an experimental thesis on network security. Between 2004 and 2012 he worked for two of the most important Italian System Integrators in information security as Systems Engineer, Security Consultant, Sr. Systems Engineer and Team Leader. During these years of work, he has gained important skills and experience in the industry, over time obtaining twenty-six specialist certifications on the main IT security vendors and ISC2's independent CISSP certification. At Fortinet, he has filed six patents with the United States Patent and Trademark Office's (USPTO), the last two of which are based on Artificial Intelligence, containing technological innovations in various areas of cybersecurity and physical security and specifically related to: Security Cooperation; ZTNA; Deception; SD-WAN; Face Recognition
