Under-Secretary of State to the Presidency of the Council with delegation to technological innovation

Born in Como in 1964, he was first elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 1992 (11th Legislature). He served as deputy in legislatures XIII, XIV, XVIII and senator in legislatures XV, XVI, XIX.

He has worked on telecommunications, broadcasting, cloud, data protection, big tech, and 5G. Since Oct. 31, 2022, he has been Undersecretary of State at the Prime Minister's Office with responsibility for innovation.
