Andrea Urbani

Director, Regional Health and Social Integration Directorate, Lazio Region

Andrea Urbani is an economist and licensed chartered accountant since March 2017. He currently holds the position of Director of the Directorate of Health and Social Integration, at the Lazio Region, a role he has fulfilled since June 2023. Previously, he was the General Director of the Health Planning Directorate at the Ministry of Health from March 2017 to June 2022. From October 2013 to August 2017, he was appointed as Sub Commissioner for the implementation and recovery plan addressing health deficits in the Calabria Region and served as a member of the Board of Auditors for the National Agency for Regional Health Services (Agenas) from 2012 to March 2017. Andrea Urbani also held various administrative and management roles across the industrial, banking, and insurance sectors. He is recognized as an expert in banking, economics, and large industrial enterprises. Furthermore, he is a lecturer and author of numerous publications and reports.
