Carlo Fidanza, 48, is in his third term at the European Parliament. He carries out his gavetta first in the Council of Zone 5 and then in the City Council in Milan, where he is Group Leader of Alleanza Nazionale. In 2009 with the PDL he was elected to the European Parliament for the first time and is a member of the Committee on Transport and Tourism (TRAN) and the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development (AGRI). He is alongside Giorgia Meloni when she founded Fratelli d'Italia in 2012. In 2018 he is elected to the Chamber of Deputies and sits on the Transport Committee. In 2019 he returns to the European Parliament and, as Head of Delegation of Fratelli d'Italia, is a member of the TRAN Committee, the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO) and the Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET).
In June 2024 he was again re-elected to the European Parliament and continued as Head of Delegation of Fratelli d'Italia, as well as a member of the AGRI Committee (for which he is also ECR Group Coordinator), the TRAN Committee and the AFET Committee
