By Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers of 13 October 2023, he was appointed as one of the thirteen members of the Coordination Committee for the updating of national strategies on the use of artificial intelligence.From 2021 to 2023 he was Legal Advisor to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.Since December 2021 he has been a Fellow of the Research Centre in Public Law and Policy at the Berkeley School of Law - University of California.
