Full Professor of Economic Statistics and Sustainable Development, ‘Tor Vergata’ University of Rome

Enrico Giovannini is Professor of Economic Statistics and Sustainable Development at the University of Rome ‘Tor Vergata’. He was Minister of Sustainable Infrastructure and Mobility in the Draghi government and Minister of Labour and Social Policies in the Letta government. He is co-founder and Scientific Director of the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (ASVIS). He was Head of the OECD's Directorate for Statistics and Chief Statistician and President of ISTAT. He is the author of over 130 articles published in national and international journals and seven books on statistical and economic topics.
