With a degree in law, he boasts numerous administrative and managerial experiences in the energy, services, transport and telecommunications sectors.

Since June 2023 he has been Executive Chairman of Estra Spa - one of the leading operators in Central Italy in the energy sector - a position he previously held from 2016 to 2021. 

Since May 2023 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Leonardo Spa.

Since December 2023, he has been President of Confservizi Nazionale, an association of companies and public and private entities that manage local public services.

Since 2016 he has been a member of the Executive Board of Utilitalia, an association representing over 500 energy, water and environmental companies.

Since 2018 he has been President of ITS Energia e Ambiente della Toscana and national coordinator of the ITS network.
