Jay Patel is the Director of Technology at Jacaranda Health. He joined the team in 2018 as the first member of the Technology team. His leadership has propelled advancements in the organization's technological and data infrastructure, driving innovative machine learning projects and expanding the Technology team. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio. In his current role, Jay manages the organization’s technology operations, focusing on designing, developing, and deploying open, multi-lingual African Large Language Models, alongside managing technology infrastructure and data initiatives that benefit millions of mothers throughout Kenya and Sub-Saharan Africa.
