Marco Utili

Managing Director, IBM Technology Italy

Marco Utili joined IBM in May 2001 and has been managing director of the IBM Technology division since January 2022.

In his role he leads a large team of commercial and technical specialists with the goal of helping private companies and institutions increase their success in a market where digital innovation and technology are revolutionizing business models serving citizens, families and businesses.

Previously, Marco was Vice President heading the Banking & Financial Institutions structure and Executive Director of the Systems Hardware division for IBM Italy.

Marco is also a member of the general council of the Industrial Union of Naples and coordinates the development and growth activities of future talent in IBM Italy. A graduate in Business Administration from the Federico II University in Naples, he holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Henley Business School. He lives in Milan, is married to Valentina and they have one son, Riccardo.
