Nicola Lanzetta

Director Italy, Enel

Nicola Lanzetta holds the position of Director Italy of the Enel Group, where he was responsible for the Italian Market since September 2014. Nicola Lanzetta has served as Chairman in numerous Boards of Enel Group companies, such as Enel Energia SpA, Servizio Elettrico Nazionale SpA, Enel.si srl and Enel Sole SpA.

Nicola Lanzetta began his career in 1992 at AT&T/NCR Italy S.p.A. dealing with large customers and then moved to the world of TLC, working for Telecom Italia S.p.A. and Infostrada S.p.A where he held the position of Trade Marketing Director and later Retail Sales Director. He joined the Enel Group in 2001, first dealing with the corporate integration and formation of Enel Gas S.p.A. and later with the launch of Enel Energia's commercial network with the first phase of retail market liberalisation. He was Senior Vice President of Enel Energia S.p.A. and since 2014 has been Head of Enel's Italian Market.

He is also President of Assolombarda's Energy Group and a member of the Board of Directors of Confimprese.

Nicola Lanzetta graduated in Computer Science from the University of Pisa and is married with two daughters.
