Saverio Valentino

Antitrust Component, AGCM

Saverio Valentino has been a Member of the Competition Authority since 13 June 2023. 
Prior to his appointment, he practised as a lawyer dealing with competition law and advocating before the EU courts, the Italian administrative and civil courts, the European Commission, the Antitrust Authority and other competition authorities. He has been a member of the Bar in Rome since ‘99 (advocating in the Supreme Court since 2013) and in New York since 2001. 
He graduated with honours from ‘La Sapienza’ in Rome in ‘95 and obtained a Master's degree in Community Law from the College of Europe in Bruges in ’96 and one in Law from the University of Chicago Law School in 2000.
