Sergio Gianotti, 57, has been head of the Public Sector at Amazon Web Services Italy since May 2022. Joining AWS in November 2021 as head of the Local Public Administration and Transportation Department, Gianotti has a deep knowledge of the Italian and international ICT Market. Before joining AWS, he held numerous management positions in leading companies in the sector such as Telecom Italia, Cisco, Huawei, Alcatel Lucent and finally Nokia he was VP Enterprise & Public Sector for Southern Europe. He is the author of numerous industry publications and technical monographs.
